About me

I am a developer at Blank in Oslo, and I build whole systems rather than parts of them. Event-driven platforms, the data that flows through them, and the tools people actually open every morning to do their job.

Most of my work has been as a consultant. At Aneo Mobility I spent two years going from portal features to owning the real-time data platform the company now runs on, then the operations tool on top of it, then the algorithm that cut grid costs across their charging sites. At BI Norwegian Business School I am rebuilding the integrations behind a move to SAP, where the hard part is making systems with completely different ideas of what a person is agree with each other.

Alongside that I ship my own things. Two apps on the App Store, a site a Sunday school in Bærum runs on, a grade calculator Norwegian students still use years after I built it for myself. I also spend a lot of time on how AI fits into real development work, and I teach it: onboarding a model like a colleague rather than prompting it like a chatbot.

Experience

  1. Aug 2023 – now

    Technologist

    Blank

Consultant building whole systems for clients, most recently the integration platform behind BI Norwegian Business School's move to SAP, and before that two years owning the data platform and operations tooling at Aneo Mobility.

  2. Jan 2021 – Aug 2023

    Developer, part time

    Blank

Worked alongside my studies at NTNU, mainly on Trak, an onboarding and personnel follow-up product that started as an internal tool and was generalised for other customers.

  3. Jun 2022 – Aug 2022

    Summer intern

    Bekk

Built 4 Key Metric for Møller Mobility Group, implementing Google's four key metrics inside Møller's Azure estate. It is still in active use.

  4. Jun 2021 – Aug 2021

    Summer intern

    Bekk

Built the moderation platform for Klimabrølet, including automatic filtering of uploaded videos with Azure Image Recognition at 60 percent lower cost.

  5. Jun 2020 – Aug 2020

    Summer intern

    Knowit Objectnet

Frontend developer in Entur's Team Betjent, working on the internal portal staff use to sell, change and refund tickets.

  6. Aug 2019 – Dec 2020

    Teaching assistant

    NTNU

Taught and mentored students in programming courses, which is also where Snittet started, because the students I mentored asked for the grade calculator I had built for myself.

Education

  1. Aug 2021 – Jun 2023

    MSc, Computer Science

Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU)

Master's degree in computer science, with a thesis written in 2023.

  2. Aug 2018 – Jun 2021

    BEng, Computer Engineering

Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU)

Bachelor's degree in computer engineering. The bachelor thesis in 2021 became Trak, which turned into a product and a part-time job.

Set up your environment to work better with AI

Most of us have tried AI tools for coding, and just as many have hit the same frustrations: the model forgets everything between sessions, does not know our systems, and gives generic answers that do not fit the stack we actually work in. This is the setup I built to solve exactly that, with real examples from BISAP. You leave with three concrete things you can set up the same day.

    Stop prompting. Start onboarding.

Using coding AI as a smarter chatbot leads to long prompts, a lot of correcting and unpredictable quality. This workshop shows how to onboard AI as a developer on the team instead, with AGENTS.md, subagents and standardised slash commands. Demonstrated with Claude Code, but the patterns work with any assistant.
